| Preparing for Brain Training Sessions
1) In preparation for your sessions, no alcohol or recreational drugs for at least 48 hours before, during and one week after sessions.. At least 48 hours before and one week afterward Absolutely NO alcohol, recreational drugs, etc. Brain neurons become "rubberized" with alcohol use and fail to take best advantage of the training. If you are doing the Smoking Cessation Intensive, absolutely no tobacco during this period as well. We can recommend a homeopathic remedy to help with the cravings. Cravings should be gone by the third day. 2) Eat plenty of protein, before, during and after sessions. If you are a vegetarian, you might build up with Spirulina, etc. BST recommends Isopure Whey based protein powder at about $9 per pound. NeuroMagic recommends Noble Supplement's Ion Exchange Whey Protein at about $19 per pound (available in Sedona at Renzai's Health Food Store) and Costco offers Pro-Rated whey based protein powder at about $4 per pound though it contains Splenda, a derivative of sugar. Take 1 gram per pound of body weight or at least 100 grams per day. This is about 2 scoops two times a day. This is very easy to take; just mix/shake with a small amount of water. Tastes good; goes down easy. Comes in Chocolate or Vanilla. You should start this well before your sessions begin and continue afterward for as much as a week. Many of us now use protein indefinitely. Info about protein sources may be found at many sources including Food Data Chart - Protein and the Harvard School of Public Health. Bee Pollen is considered an excellent source of protein. 3) Do not do any type of energy work/healing work, chiropractic work, acupuncture, etc., during your sessions. If you get massages, etc., make sure that no energy work is included.. 4) Plan on getting good sleep and taking it easy. You can have any sort of a full day as necessary, shopping, etc., but you are building neural nets and want to best take advantage of the process. 5) Meditation, contemplating your discoveries and taking it easy is a good thing. 6) Documenting your experiences is a valuable tool in the self-discovery process made available by Brain State Conditioning tm. If you will look for the benefits, and record them, you will have a better tally of your experience. 7) Journaling and note-taking is highly recommended for so many reasons. Particularly, you may wish to tell your friends about your discoveries and as you settle into the new you, the original discoveries will become commonplace. Record your experiences! 8) Please be sure to listen to the audio and new video presentation/interviews by Lee at www.NeuroMagic.net/Information.htm. This is your orientation. Familiarization with your upcoming experience will be very helpful. You may have an opportunity to speak with Lee at some point during your sessions. 9) Once you arrive, you will be asked to indicate medications and diagnoses, etc. Please be prepared to accurately submit this information. Again, turn your cell phone off.. Better idea, leave it in your car. 10) Drink plenty of water. Click here for an article on Brain State Conditioning |
