Did you know? That air (not food or water) is the primary way that we as human beings bring energy into our bodies? Now as human beings, we can’t live on air alone (though there are some Buddhist monks that may disagree). But oxygen is full of energy. Oxygen is food for your cells. Think about it. When you do something strenuous, like run, or pick up a heavy box, what does your body do? It starts breathing more deeply, drawing oxygen out of the air to give you the energy to keep moving or to heft that box onto your kitchen table. And when you get tired after a long day and want nothing more than to crawl into your bed and go to sleep, how do you stay awake? You yawn.
